NewsWe headed off from Belfast to the Vienna show, stopping at Dundalk to pick up Big Paddy, one of the nicest and biggest Irish tattoo enthusiasts on the way to the Dublin Airport. The flight was fast and we were met by CoCo one of my oldest and best friends – owner and operator of the “Tripple X” Vienna. When we arrived at the studio we were met by our bigger international family. We settle in for a smoke and a joke partying into the early hours of the morning. Paddy had a great time surrounded by the artists he had only heard about and seen in Tattoo mags. The next day the show started. It was smaller than in earlier years. It did not compare to the “Cannonball Run” the year before. Nice hotel though. I worked the weekend at the show then Paddy had to fly home, back to work and family. I missed my friends as soon as they left. I moved into the XXX Vienna Studio and worked the next week there. Wonderful time and a great crew. Then I moved down to Salzburg to work with Sean and his crew at XXX Salzburg. Once more I had a wonderful time with Sean and everyone at the studio. Special thanks to Niki who gave up her apartment for me. She is a Darling. I returned to Vienna spending the last day with CoCo, finally having to return home to Ireland.
